This unique slotted snare drum, manufactured since 1982, features an open center. It's been revived in limited quantities as a powerful, open model with modern specifications for excellent projection.

At the time, the Colosseum was released in four models: a slotted maple shell, a regular shell, and one with a different strainer. This reissue is the first to feature a metal slotted shell.

The shell features a seamless cast aluminum shell with a 45-degree bearing edge. It's an incredibly thick 6mm and is supported from above and below by 10 long lugs. It's also held together by a die-cast hoop, resulting in a rich, powerful sound. This isn't just a reissue; careful attention has been paid to ensuring it's relevant to today's music scene.

Limited to 100 units worldwide, with only a limited number available in Japan, this snare drum is sure to be a rare find.
