Furch G23 CR CT Elite

A masterpiece from the luthiers of Furch guitars, the Grand Auditorium G23 CR Cut Elite is up for sale. The handcrafted guitar is made from solid western cedar with indian rosewood sides and back. The neck is made of african mahogany with an ebony fretboard. The tuners are Schaller M6 Gold with ebony knobs (only available on the Elite variant).

The guitar was meant to be my learning-to-play guitar, but the excellent craftmanship put into the guitar made me rethink this strategy. I have since 2017 (when I bought it) only played occasionally just to keep it in tune and hear the marvellous sound and its too good to be true sustain.

The guitar in excellent condition is almost "as new", but I have used it, and it is possible to see some very faint hairline marks, minimal dents and dust. Since I play fingerstyle without pick, the pickguard and top are entirely free from such marks. I did not use a buckle which means no buckle rash. The frets are almost as unplayed, but show some areas more shiny than others. When you view the guitar it looks brand new.

Furch famous voicing technique has been successfully deployed in this elite model as is evident in the great overtone spectrum.

A Hiscox hardcase and original tool set is supplied with the guitar.
