Early 70s Aria SK Skeleton Dan Armstrong acrylic double cutaway electric guitar with the rare Gibson "open-book" headstock and even more rare tune-o-matic bridge option. As featured on the official Dan Armstrong website. Made by the famous Matsumoto company in Nagano, Japan. Gibson contracted Aria through Matsuomoto to make the 70s Epiphone guitars in Japan, which is why you see the Gibson & Epiphone "open-book" headstock on this model. This guitar has a super cool lucite/plexiglass see-through body. So much you can do with this for the stage or music videos. The guitar has 24 frets and oozes vintage 70s tone, but you also have the option to swap out the pickups for your favourite set if you want to keep the epic see-through appearance, but have your own tone attached. This is the only one for sale in the world as far as I am aware. Very good condition with minor surface scuffing. Hard to believe this is over 50 years old, as the Aria brand disappeared in 1975 after changing to Aria Pro II for electric guitars and basses.
