The DBJC is the King Daddy cutaway of Bourgeois Guitars. The Dana Bourgeois Jumbo measures 16 1/4″ across at the lower bout and is big on tone and presence. This DBJC Custom is build with all figured Beeswing Mahogany with custom Crimson Red gloss finish. We were discussing the cool reds that Gibson had on their Mahogany SG models in the 70’s and asked Bourgeois if they could do a similar red tint on a all Beeswing Mahogany Jumbo, and here it is. This is the first one of it’s kind. Not over the top fire engine red, just enough where the grain comes through and sets it off with warm crimson tint. a unique kickin’ build.
