Introducing...The Mayones Adam Christianson Aquila Cardinal. Based around the Mayones Aquila body shape the beauty is in the simplicity of the design. The no nonsense, no frills approach strips this model right back to the very basics and fundamentals of electric guitar design. Adam himself revealed Ive always been a big fan of very simple guitars & minimalist approach. I fell like they just give you more than you put in.

The Cardinal begins with an American Ash body, which has been exposed to Mayones's Tonally Enhanced Wood program, helping to add resonance, stability and clarity, all of which are essential in a band like Architects. Stained in an awesome Antique Black the Cardinal looks mean and menacing! 

Paired up with a Tonally Enhanced and and graphite reinforced Maple neck it offers great stability and resonance. The custom D-Shape neck is comfortable and allows for quick and easy movements. The Ebony fingerboard features a slightly rounder 12 radius alongside 24 extra jumbo stainless steel frets, 43.5mm nut width, 27 scale and a Graph Tech TUSQ nut.

In a band like Architects its essential to cut through and stand out, thanks to the Mayones TKO pickup set Adam can do just that. This set allows for a full frequency range and a really dynamic response. Mayones and Bare knuckle have had an extremely strong relationship for years, so a collaboration between both teams was always inevitable. The TKO set is aggressive through gain but beautifully clean when required, such a versatile set.

The Aquila Cardinal is finished off with a Hipshot fixed bridge and Gotoh locking tuners aswell as luminlay side dots.
