The tones?

more vocal, watery, organic than other wahs. this is because gagan has stripped out all the tone-robbing parts and left the pure wah circuit that lets your fingers, woods , pickups, pedals and amp truly shine.

enhanced HARMONIC spectrum when compared to other wahs, gagan's unique HIGH Q process in inductor winding. must be played to be understood. ( please play loudly ).

-hand-wound Joe Gagan stack of Dimes replica inductor. possibly one of the finest hand made inductors currently being made. years of research and expertise in every inductor.

- OPTION --special gagan-painted, hand cut ' vinetop ' rubber ($50)

- hand etched front signature, I do each one myself.

- output resistor mod just like the weyer wah for great interaction with nearly all known fuzzes after the wah ( *a few exceptions have been reported, your results may vary).
 
-low noise, medium gain transistors for great vintage tone and hiss level way below most wahs on the market.

- user adjustable for frequency, bias and input volume- tuned in our shop and marked with our favorite vintage/modern settings.

*the frequency is set using a special assortment of caps included with wah, or, just leave it "gagan stock" for awesome wah tones right out of the box.

-super quality switch -grounded true bypass.
-power supply jack, all filtering and protection is on board.

TUNING NOTES FOR BUYERS:
tweak the adjustments in this order:

1. Frequency. set frequency using the socketed caps.

For less low end, try the .01 only in the sockets. the more cap value added, the more low end you add ( highs are only lessened a tiny bit with each move upward in cap value)

add the cap values together for final value from the capacitor kit provided.

example - .01 and .007 in sockets equals .017 , this is the stock value of this as shipped.

stock vox or crybaby is .01. hendrix wah, zakk wylde, cantrell etc are .022. bass wahs were .068 back in the day. USE YOUR EARS to get your optimal frequency range.

2. Bias. Sets the gain/growl and low end content. go back and repeat step 1 if necessary.
3. Vol can be set last, to match bypass vol, or wah a little louder like some people prefer.
