Based on Eddie Van Halen's iconic star-shaped Charvel Star electric guitar, the EVH Star Limited Edition EB in Primer Gray offers a unique playing experience with modern components. The fancy guitar is composed of a basswood body and a Quarter Sawn Maple neck, which is connected to the body by a classic bolt-on joint. On the other hand, an ebony fingerboard in a compound radius ranging from 12 to 16 inches makes nimble movements of the picking hand over 22 jumbo frets possible. Sound transformation at the amp is provided by a single EVH Wolfgang humbucker in bridge position, which impresses with its resonant and powerful tone and is perfectly suited for classic rock sounds and singing leads. A volume control with treble bleed circuit prevents unwanted treble loss at lower volume settings. Last but not least, the Star electric guitar is also adorned with a kill switch and hardware features in the form of an EVH Floyd Rose tremolo system with matching locking saddle and a handy D-Tuna.
