The Northern Goshawk is ready for a new owner! Finished on 04-04-2022.  A very unique completely handmade 3 string guitar with a lot of details and custom parts.

The body is a reclaimed box with new hinges and clasps and box corners. It's stained with grey tones and has handpainted artwork on the front and back. The neck is aged beech with a brazilian greenheart fretboard. The headstock has a scarf joint, greenheart in the wings and a laminated back. It has a woodburned signature, aluminum engraved brand tag and 3 gold tuners. The instrument has a 26.75" Gibson scale with 22 stainless steel frets. The fretboard has rectangular (skate)maple fretmarkers with a brass ring that's filled with greenheart wooddust. The sidedots are brass  as well. On the sides of the box there's a unique poplar legrest for comfortable playing and a handle to carry it around. The tailpiece is stainless steel with a bird detail, mounted on hardwood. The guitar is powered with a very strong sounding gold humbucker (15,6k), a volume and tone (0. 22uF orange drop) . There's a unique handmade pickup ring (maple/greenheart/sheep leather) with brass inlays. The pickup can be switched if you like. There are some multilaminated custom knobs with brass inlay to control this beast. The bridge is made out of rosewood, maple, Brazilian greenheart and brass, it's height adjustable and also has brass inlays. The jackplate is custom made from aluminum. The nut is made of bone. The soundholes are hand-cut and add to the art-deco look of the instrument. The box can still be opened and inside there's a handmade pouch attached where you can store whatever you like 😏 the neck has been sanded super smooth and is finished with multiple layers of oil. The box is finished with quality lacquer and finishing oil.  It's tuned GDg with the A,D and g string of a regular 6 pack and can be tuned to an open A chord as well. These instruments are a lot of fun to play, and you can easily play any style on them. The low action, shape of the neck and overal awesomeness contribute to a great playing experience and you will steal the show guaranteed!
