The Model 1000 viola is an eloquent piece of artistry made from select premium tonewood material.   Handmade by Silver Award winning luthiers of the Violin Society of America, every detail has been meticulously crafted to produce a bold presence that is both aesthetically and tonally masterful. The Model 1000 features a hand-applied oil varnish and undergoes a unique antiquing process to give it the look, feel, and sound of a more aged, but also timeless, vintage instrument.

• Made from highly select, premium quality European tonewood, featuring a tightly grained hand-carved Spruce top and highly flamed Maple back, sides, ribs, and scroll

• Set up by our luthiers with a Rock Maple bridge and D'Addario Helicore strings
