Up for grabs is a 12" Peavey Scorpion re-cone kit.
Each price/bid is for one complete kit, and I do combine multi purchase shipping costs........With replacement baskets costing ridiculous amounts, this is a cost effective way to get your Scorpion(s) running again......
****THIS KIT CONTAINS THE STOCK LOOKING MOLDED CONE WITH CLOTH SURROUND**********
( the parts picture shows the seamed cone version which I also carry)
*** ALL components are AMERICAN made/ NO Import ******
Each kit contains
*One curve-linear molded cone with cloth surround
*One 2 1/2" diameter voice coil.
*One pair of .050" diameter woven cotton conductor litz wires.
*One treated textile spider assembly, and YOUR CHOICE of either a pressed paper dust cap, *or the aluminum/lip down dust cap.
This is what I would call an "intermediate" skill level kit, as with the Scorpion speakers, you need to re-use your front plastic trim ring, and install the components yourself.......
NOTE* basket/frame is for comparison and display of finished product only, and the recone kit only contains the components mentioned to re cone one loudspeaker.
Voice coil impedance is 8 ohms (others4-16 available upon request with minimal $$$11.25 premium)and a minimal power rating of 125 watts RMS.
Loudspeaker re-cone components are sold AS IS-non-returnable, but if you do have ANY questions or concerns- just ask, and I'll do my best to help you out.
So, if ya' need that "Power-Vintage" tonality back that only a Scorpion seems to provide, here's your chance to find an impossible re-cone kit!!!
