Letting go of this absolutely beautiful pair of rare 1950s Altec 322c Tube Compressors! These are total game changers for any recording studio or musician. If you know then you know.. If you don't then you should! I searched for years to have a pair and now I have 4 so letting this pair go to a new home. 

These sound absolutely insane on everything! Drum buss, 2 buss, vocals, guitars, keys. They add mass and color in a very musical in your face kind of way. Side chaining the two together is pure magic! They are extremely three dimensional and massive sounding compressors! The Altecs are absolute weapons when it comes to tracking and mixing. If your looking for some badass tube compressors that are about as far from transparent as you can get, you've met your match! " A pair of these 322C were used as the main program/limiting amplifiers on all of the 1950's Command Records releases done at Fine Recording - they have a very distinctive sound when pushed". They also made their way onto Led Zeppelin records -check out (“Babe Im Gonna Leave You”)

This pair was recently serviced by a reputable Los Angeles tech. They work and sound wonderful! I would expect them to last for the next 75 years. The 511 power supply was fully rebuilt and includes a link cable to power both 322c compressors.  Both limiters include the XLR pigtails in back.
