This item is made to order and will usually ship with 2-3 days of purchase. 80% of the work doing the SQ80m mod is preparation work. With this semi-finished DIY kit, you can  pay a little extra to only do the last 20%! Buyer receives the pre-wired mod kit and an instructional diagram of where each wire goes. It takes me a couple hours to get it done and tested so please allow a bit of time for me to get it all done nicely.

You will receive a fully assembled kit which only needs the last few  wires attached. I'm including a special step-by-step guide to make it simple as possible. Check out the 2nd photo, all the buyer does is solder two wires to U19 and six wires to the sound chip.

The additional circuitry is sealed for both safety and simplicity. The wires you need to solder are pre-tinned and pre-labeled so you can easily follow along the included wiring guide.

Additionally, all wires are labeled telling you exactly where they need to be put, and the cables are pre-tinned, so you can simply melt them onto where they need to be connected to. You will also receive a special instruction set printed out on paper which comes complete with step-by-step picture instructions to show you where all wires will be going. What you receive is the black blob in the middle of the photo with all the wires coming out of it, the new OS chip and the Wave ROM chip. It ships in a box with some wires between the Wave ROM and blob already attached, and all blob wires labeled clearly. I recommend getting your power supply board professionally serviced, or at least check the power supply to be sure the main large capacitors are not physically broken off or look in bad shape.

I also recommend shortening the wires to not be excessively long. I intentionally send this with much longer wires than needed so you can comfortably install.

Note - most esq-m have socketed wave ROMs but i have worked on a few with soldered in wave ROMs. Be sure to check on this first if it'll be a problem.
