Gretsch solid-body Committee (model 7629) has a double-cutaway body of solid walnut with contoured sides and a natural walnut finish, a through-body maple/walnut neck with a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard and two-on-a-side headstock, a single Super’Tron pickup with simple controls (volume and tone), chrome hardware and a Badass and Bridge, a see through black pickguard. Measurements: 13 in. body width, 1.5 in. body width, 34 in. scale, mfg. 1977-1980. I think this one is a 1977 or 78.
This bass plays really well and sounds incredible! The action and setup are on the money....plenty of playing left on these frets. Has some dings as shown in the pictures plus a small piece of the headstock binding is missing. You can see where it's missing in the close up pic of the headstock. The missing part is to the right of the logo....top - right side of the headstock...nothing that can't be fixed.
Comes with a decent gig bag and is wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a very heavy duty, thick cardboard box.
