The Larrivee 40 series uses all solid wood and features their handfit dovetail neck joint for superior fit and sustain. This series truly stands out as an industry leader for price and quality. Maple bound trim, herringbone purfling/rosette and satin finish are standard features on 40 Series.
This OM-40 is a traditional orchestra body shape and features:
- solid Sitka spruce top
- solid mahogany back and sides (NEVER laminated!)
- one piece mahogany neck
- ebony fingerboard and bridge
- unique open-gear tuners with etched butterbean buttons
- bone 1 3/4" nut and compensated saddle
- handsome maple binding on the front, back, and fingerboard
- herringbone rosette
- satin finish on the neck for easier playing
- branded hardshell case is included!
