This fine vintage Shure microphone sounds really, really great. It has the four pin connector which is not included. They are readily available online. I'm not sure what the tape is hiding, I have not ever removed it. I would assume a cracked piece of plastic collar. The mic functions as it should sounds good just a little worse for the wear so it is price to sell.
