For sale is a beautiful 1967 Gibson ES-175 in stunning Cherry Sunburst finish, made in the USA during Gibson’s classic 1960s era.
This is one of the most iconic hollowbody electric guitars ever made — elegant, resonant and full of unmistakable vintage Gibson character. The ES-175 has been a standard for jazz players for decades, but it is also a wonderful instrument for blues, soul, roots music, studio work and warm vintage electric tones.
This example looks absolutely beautiful in Cherry Sunburst, with a rich vintage fade and strong visual presence. It has a very inspiring feel and delivers a warm, open and woody sound, with smooth attack, rich mids and excellent acoustic resonance. The guitar has the classic depth, sweetness and character you expect from a great vintage ES-175.
