2003 Fender FSR "Splattercaster" Standard Stratocaster
Made in Mexico
A genuinely rare, limited-edition Strat that stands out in any collection — the Splattercaster was produced for only a brief run in 2003-2004, with each guitar hand-finished in Fender's distinctive "SpinArt" spatter paint process, so no two are ever quite identical. Underneath the eye-catching finish is a fully spec'd Standard Stratocaster: an alder body, C-shaped maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, paired with three single-coil pickups wired to a 5-way selector, master volume, and dual tone controls. These have become increasingly collectible, with asking prices climbing well past their original retail as players and collectors alike chase down the unique paint jobs. Comes with the original Fender gig bag (note: the gig bag has multiple broken zippers).
