Ibanez EHB1505MS Headless 5 String Bass Black Ice Flat B-Stock

Ibanez EHB1505MS Headless 5-String Bass Black Ice Flat B-Stock

The EHB1505MS delivers exceptional ergonomic balance through its headless design and multi-scale neck, making it equally comfortable for seated or standing play. This B-Stock unit carries a small cosmetic chip on the upper horn with no impact on playability or function. Built for modern bassists who demand precision, stability, and versatility, this instrument bridges the gap between aggressive contemporary styles and refined tonal control.

Build & Ergonomics

The chambered Poplar Burl top paired with lightweight African Mahogany creates a resonant, articulate platform with natural visual appeal. The 9-piece Panga Panga/Walnut neck with graphite reinforcement rods provides rock-solid stability and sustain, while the 35"–33" multi-scale design (889mm–838mm) ensures optimal string tension balance and improved intonation across all five strings.

Tone & Electronics

Nordstrand Custom Big Split passive pickups deliver a strong, hum-canceling tone with clarity across all strings, while the Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ with EQ bypass switch provides extensive tonal shaping without sacrificing organic passive character. The MR5HS bridge with 18mm string spacing and Schaller S-Locks ensure precise setup and maximum tuning stability in demanding performance conditions.
