The Trace Elliot V-Type 600H is a powerful and highly regarded hybrid bass head, combining a valve preamp with a huge 600-watt MOSFET power section. Built in the UK, the V-Type 600H is known for its warm, tube-like character, impressive headroom and unmistakable Trace Elliot tone. The V-Type preamp uses a carefully voiced passive tone circuit rather than the graphic EQ found on many of Trace Elliot’s other amplifiers, giving the 600H a more direct and musical approach.
The control layout includes Gain, Deep, Bass, Middle, Treble, Bright, Pre/Post EQ, Ground Lift and Master Volume, giving plenty of scope to shape the sound while retaining the natural character of the valve preamp. With 600 watts of power on tap, the V-Type 600H offers serious volume and headroom, making it an excellent choice for players looking for a powerful vintage-inspired bass amplifier with a distinctly warm and authoritative voice.
