The SansAmp Programmable Bass Driver ELITE is a bass preamp/DI that combines SansAmp's signature amp sound and natural response with high expandability via preset functions, IRs, and MIDI. It responds smoothly to dynamics and picking nuances during playing, allowing you to build a stable bass sound in a wide range of environments, from live performances to recording.

This unit features a "Performance Mode" for quick access to three main presets and a "Studio Mode" for saving up to 128 custom presets. In Performance Mode, the selected switch number is displayed on the screen, and a "-" is displayed when the switch is off. In addition to intuitive sound shaping with DRIVE, 3-band EQ, PRESENCE, COMP, and BLEND, the "RED ZONE" allows you to adjust preamp level, filter, mid-frequency, Q, ambience, compression ratio, chorus, and more. From auto-wah filters to chorus, vibrato, and natural spatial expression, this single unit can handle a wide range of sound creation. This mode is switched on by pressing the tuner button, and the red LED next to Blend lights up when RED ZONE control is active.

Using the dedicated MIDI-compatible user interface, you can further refine the editing of parameters such as amps, effects, EQ, and IRs. It includes SansAmp IRs and an editable IR collection, and supports blending multiple IRs and uploading external IRs. With a chromatic tuner, effects loop, and XLR output, it serves as the core of various systems, whether connecting to an amp, direct output to a PA system, driving a power amp, or direct recording to a computer.

MIDI connectivity allows you to edit detailed parameters such as amplifiers, IRs, effects, and EQ. It also supports blending multiple IRs and loading external IRs, enabling you to create sounds tailored to your environment and preferences.
