About this listing
Beyond ClassicLaunched in 2017 for the series' 40th anniversary, BB Professional basses are world-class instruments built in Japan by Yamaha master luthiers. Alder/maple/alder bodies, 6-bolt miter neck joints, and Initial Response Acceleration (I.R.A.) treatment increase vibration transfer for powerful resonance. Their 5-piece necks provide strength and stability, as well as combining the warmth of mahogany with the brightness of maple. Custom-wound Alnico V pickups and convertible bridges and saddles provide tonal flexibility and customizable feel. BB Professional basses are available with four (BBP34) or five (BBP35) strings, and in four finishes, now including Moonlight Blue and Vintage White.Features• Made in Japan• Alder/maple/alder body construction• YGD custom V7 (Alnico V) pickups• Vintage Plus Bridge with convertible bridge and saddle• 6-Bolt miter neck joint• 5-Piece neck• Lightweight open-gear tuners• I.R.A treatment• New chrome hardwareSpecificationsConstruction: Bolt-on 6-bolt miter neck jointScale Length: 34" / 863.6mmBody: Alder/Maple/AlderBody Finish: Gloss PolyurethaneNeck: Maple/Mahogany 5pcsNeck Finish: Satin PolyurethaneFingerboard: RosewoodRadius: 10" / 250mmFrets: 21 MediumNut: GraphtechNeck Width @ 0F/12F: 40.0 / 56.3mmNeck Thickness @ 1F/12F: 21.0 / 23.0mmNeck Pickup: VSP7n Split Single Coil / Alnico VBridge Pickup: VSC7b Single Coil / Alnico VControls: Volume and Master ToneBridge: Vintage Plus Convertible Stringing, Brass Saddle, Steel PlateString Spacing: 19mmTuners: Lightweight Open GearPickguard: 3-Ply Black, Cream, or 4-Ply TortoiseshellString Gauge: D'Addario EXL170 0.045-0.100Case: Hardshell
