Up for sale is my Taylor LKSM-6 with a high grade solid Sitka Spruce top over a high grade South American Mahogany. Very sweet playing , sounding and looking. An eye popping beautiful woods aesthetic❗Made in El Cajon , CA , USASerial No. 20001208153Signed: Robert TaylorThis guitar is all Acoustic [no electronics].My sales are very controlled by myself only as I am a private seller and not a store shop, so if the guitar is up for sale on Reverb then it is available for purchase; the guitar shipped to you will be exactly the one in the advertisement pictures. Once I list a guitar for sale on reverb it is not used or touched again unless there is a seller's reason to do so.I am not the original owner of this guitar for many years now ; it was purchased resale through a private owner - my reason for selling is to thin the herd.I'm a man-cave player , so this Taylor guitar has never been out of my home , and unless played , it's in the case , in my temp/humidity controlled environment.It is in Excellent condition with three minor imperfections; [i] a small ding on the lower bout front purfling , i polished it up and it is hardly visible unless you look for it ; [ii] back side upper bout near the cut away , there is about a quarter coin sized discoloration in the finish with just a sliver line of laquer checking ; [iii] a very slight line finish checking from the nut to about 2 inches along the side of the neck [cannot feel it when playing] ; otherwise no scratches, no other dings, and may find only the faintest micro swirling - just 'cause that's the way I keep all my instruments.I give this guitar two thumbs up for it's amazing clear and woodsy and balanced full bodied tone and all American USA build quality. I play only fingerstyle guitar and this one has a solid great feel and lively open tone to it.This guitar has amazing construction , wood selection and specs for the price , with some of the key features being...- American build construction CA , USA- Solid high grade Sitka Spruce top [high gloss]-Solid high grade South American Mahogany back and sides [high gloss] ; [one would be hard pressed to find a higher grade tropical Mahogany wood set than this on a production model guitar]- pin stripe green purfling throughout the binding [a signature of the LKSM models]- Ebony fretboard w/side dot fret markers and standard Grover sealed tunersUsing digital calipers the nut width is 1.70"String spacing at the saddle is 2.22" [outside to outside on the E strings]Scale Length is 25" &½"Mahogany body depth...Lower bout at the end = 4" &⅜"Upper body at the neck = 3" &¾"Lower bout 16" &⅞"Upper bout 12"I would describe the neck as a smooth fast C profile shape with a satin finished Mahogany ; the action is perfect and set up with a new set of Elixir polyweb 80/20 bronze strings [13_56 /?] set up for ease of fingerstyle play across the fretboard. I play only a lighter fingerstyle.As for the radius I give it a 12 inch average feel ; I don't have the instrument to measure this exactly.
