About this listing
Schecter C-7 FR-S Apocalypse Electric Guitar in Red Reign
The C-7 FR-S Apocalypse is a seven-string instrument built for extended-range playing with demanding technical and tonal requirements. Its thin 'C' neck profile and 26.5" extended scale reward speed and precision across all seven strings, while the set-neck construction with Ultra Access balances upper-fret comfort with solid tonal coherence. The aggressive Red Reign finish paired with satin black hardware and Floyd Rose 1500 Series floating bridge delivers both visual impact and precision intonation control.
Playability & Build Quality
The thin neck measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th fret sits naturally in the hand during extended sessions, while Maple/Padauk multi-ply construction with carbon fiber reinforcement rods ensures neck stability and minimal twist. The ebony fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets and 12"-16" compound radius deliver consistent action and playability from nut to body, complemented by glow-in-the-dark side dot markers and Roman numeral inlays for visual reference in any lighting condition.
Tone & Electronics
The pairing of a Schecter USA Apocalypse-VII bridge pickup with a Sustainiac neck pickup spans from aggressive modern voicings to sustained harmonic textures with full tonal flexibility. Control architecture includes master volume and tone, dedicated intensity knob, three-way pickup selection, and dual Sustainiac switches (on-off and three-way mode selector) powered by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment, delivering both passive and active tonal shaping.
