Video: A Closer Look at the Vox MSB25 Mini Superbeetle Amp Stack

The first day of NAMM featured some exciting for Beatles fans, with Vox's unveiling of the new Vox MSB25 Mini Superbeetle amp stack coming to market this August.

While the Mini Superbeetle's vintage-inspired design is certainly reminiscent of the '60s-era British supergroup its name nods to, the amp's internals are far from outdated. Packed inside of its unimposing frame, players will find a modern Nutube—Korg and Noritake Itron's collaborative answer to problematic vacuum tubes that promises all of the tone in a smaller package with none of the issues.

The Superbeetle is capable of delivering 50 watts of classic "AC" tone through the 10-inch Celestion speaker packed into its open-backed cabinet, and players can also engage the tube-driven tremolo or built-in digital spring reverb to further approximate the vintage vibe they're after.
