Reverb Celebrates Small Business Saturday

Welcome to Small Business Saturday. Falling between the sales of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday aims to give proper spotlight to the independent businesses of the world in a weekend that's usually dominated by chains and big box retailers.

It's a goal and ambition that we here at Reverb certainly identify with. After all, our marketplace is made up mostly of small businesses, from mom-and-pop guitar shops to boutique instrument builders of every background.

More than 200,000 people have sold things on Reverb. That figure includes thousands of brick-and-mortar shops, boutique builders, gear flippers, and budding home businesses offering their wares direct to consumers. The remainder includes a wide swath of hobbyists and pros, from the burgeoning engineer selling a microphone they aren't using anymore to a collector who's buying, fixing, and flipping old guitars to help fund their retirement.

We consider them all small businesses and all worthy of celebration. Today, we thought we'd take a minute to highlight just a few of the amazing small businesses that make the Reverb community what it is. Take a look below for some of our favorites.
