Here for sale we have an Epiphone Sheraton II Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Vintage Sunburst finish. Made in the well-regarded Unsung plant in Korea in 2004, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Laminated Maple body with centre block, 5-piece Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Gold hardware including Tune-O-Matic bridge, StopBar tailpiece and a set of sealed tuning machines. The pickups fitted are a pair of Epiphone passive humbuckers, which are wired to a 3-way selector & independent volume & tone controls.
The Gloss finish neck plays very well, with a profile that resembles a ‘D’ shape. This sits comfortably in the hand and provides a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12” radius offers a perfect balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending techniques. Medium Jumbo frets improve the feel of string bending & vibrato techniques whilst providing a rock solid playing feel. The semi-hollow construction gives the guitar a nice open and resonant feel, while keeping unwanted feedback at bay.
The semi-hollow body delivers unique acoustic features. It achieves a delicate balance between body resonance and resistance to feedback, this results in an organic vocal quality that is tactile and responsive to the player's touch. The pair of Epiphone passive humbucking pickups sound thick and chunky with rich lows, tight, punchy mids and crisp, clear highs. The round and thick tone of the neck position is well complemented by the hotter, brighter bridge pickup which provides all of the bite needed for hard rock lead lines. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without being intrusive to the playing experience.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The top edge demonstrates a light scuff mark at the treble side, with an indentation at the treble side corner that has removed the finish and reveals the wood beneath.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck and fingerboard demonstrate light scratching throughout, visible only under direct light and close scrutiny. These markings are not felt in the playing position. Light cracking to the binding is apparent throughout the register.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching and indentations, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Most notably an indentation to the tip of the bass side horn that has pierced but not removed any of the finish. The pickguard shows mild scratching consistent with playwear.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Very light denting is present in the early register, improving quickly as you climb the neck. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
