SCHILKE Standard Series Cornet Mouthpiece

Founder Renold O. Schilke has a distinguished career as a trumpet player, having performed with orchestras such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the WGN Broadcasting Orchestra.
He possessed remarkable talent as a performer, but even during his time as a player, he was involved in making mouthpieces and tuning instruments.
While actively performing as a top player, he also taught at Northwestern University, DePaul University, and Roosevelt University. His experience in this educational setting led him to recognize the need for mouthpieces tailored to each player, and his involvement in their production marked the beginning of Schilke today.
