Reverend Contender RB Outfield Ivy 2021 Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Reverend Contender RB Electric Guitar in Outfield Ivy finish. Made in Korea in 2021, this guitar consists of a Korina body, a 3-piece Korina neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a Bigsby B50 tailpiece, Reverend Pink-Lock tuners, and block inlays. A pair of Reverend Retroblast humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume, master tone and bass contour control. 

The 3-piece Korina neck plays very well, with the 'Medium Oval' profile providing comfortable playability in all registers, whilst the Gloss finish to the rear ensures that transitions up and down the neck feel smooth and controlled. A smooth Rosewood fingerboard adorned with 22 medium jumbo frets serve only to enhance the already fantastic playing experience. The 12" radius provides a comprehensive playing surface that enables both easy chordal fretting yet practicality for fast lead lines. 

The pair of Reverend Retroblast humbucking pickups installed in the Contender deliver thick and full bodied tones, well suited to rock and blues playing. The neck position is round and smooth, with a pleasing grind when driving the amp which makes your lead and solo sounds cut through the mix. The bridge position is of course brighter, delivering a searing output which saturates into a beautiful distortion for rock rhythm parts and riffs. The middle position is nicely balanced and works very nicely for clean tones. The addition of a bass contour control allows you to tighten up the low end or re-voice the pickups for a varied range of tones.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can only be seen under direct as is common with gloss finishes.

Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Very light scratching is present to the pick guard which can only be seen under direct light.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
