Very cool and unusual Made in Japan Marine Rider electric guitar finished in gloss black with a pearloid pickguard and matching black electronics cover set. These quirky Japanese guitars have developed a real following over the years thanks to their unique styling, surprisingly solid build quality, and unmistakably ‘80s/'90s MIJ character.

Just cleaned, restrung and professionally set up here at Japanese Guitar Company. Plays great with comfortable action and a smooth feel up and down the neck.

The onboard electronics make this one especially interesting. Features include built-in speaker functionality along with onboard controls that give this guitar a very distinct personality compared to your average practice guitar from the era. Definitely one of those pieces that immediately starts conversations when people see it hanging on the wall.

Features:

• Made in Japan
• Gloss black finish
• Rosewood fingerboard
• Pearloid pickguard
• Built-in electronics/speaker system
• Humbucker bridge pickup
• Fresh setup and strings
• Extremely unique MIJ design

Overall condition is very good with light cosmetic wear from age and normal use. Frets show light wear but still have plenty of life left.

These Japanese oddball guitars have gotten increasingly collectible as players continue discovering how fun and well-made many of them actually were. A super cool piece for someone wanting something different from the usual Strat/Les Paul crowd.
