Cort Curbow 4 Bass Cherry Red Sparkle

The Curbow bass features a small and very light body, made from Luthite, a synthetic material used in the making of electric guitars and basses.

The neck, attached to the body by 5-bolts, is made of rock hard maple and extends all the way to the pickup for maximum vibration transfer. The fretboard is also made of Ebanol, another synthetic material that mimics the feel, look, and sonic properties of Ebony.

The single pickup goes through an active 9V tone circuit, featuring a 3-band EQ and a "slap" contour switch with adjustable bass and midrange boost (accessed from the rear) plus volume, treble cut, mid boost/cut and bass boost/cut knobs on the front.
