This is a 2012 Taylor PS56e 12-string acoustic/electric guitar, serial number: 1112032082. This is one of the finest production 12 string guitars Taylor ever made and you’d be hard pressed to find something equivalent on the market today. I am not the original owner but I did purchase it from the original owner over 2 years ago. I am selling because I am not playing the 12 that much any more.

I can provide the build sheet from Taylor but in a nutshell, here is the description. The shape is Grand Symphony with no cutaway and no pickguard. The back and sides are Cocobolo, the top is Sitka Spruce. The fretboard and bridge are Ebony and the neck is Tropical Mahogany. The sound that comes out of this work of art is nothing less than magnificent. Crystyal clear highs, a midrange that just explodes with sound and a low end that resonates beautifully. It’s hard to describe fully but I doubt you’ve heard anything like it before. The strings are Elixir 10-47 but they need to be changed and best to put your own mark on this instrument with the strings you love.

The purfling is a combination of Paua and Green Heart. The nut width is 1 7/8” and the scale length is 25 ½ “. The tuners are Gotoh Gold and the nut and saddle are bone. The truss rod cover is Ebony and the guitar was built in the Taylor plant in El Cajon, California. The woods are all top shelf and beautifully matched and the gloss finish is flawless. The electronics are the Taylor Expression System and the guitar comes with a Taylor custom hard shell case, all as pictured. The guitar is in like-new condition with only the most minor of cosmetic blemishes.
