Yamaha Flying Samurai SGV700 Alder Rosewood Shelby Blue - 2003

Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a like new 2003 Yamaha Flying Samurai model SGV700 in Shelby Blue and Mint Condition.  We peeled the protective plastic off to take pictures.  It's like new.  These are killer reissues of the venerable Flying Samurai of the 60's and the Shelby Blue version is to die for.  The pickups are amazing with great tonal options that give you the neck, all three, and half the bridge.  It can be thick and warn like a Jazzmaster, or articulate and mix cutting like a Strat and a lot of territory in between.  If you're looking for that secret weapon that gives you new tones not in your current arsenal, you've found it.  The splittable bridge reads 23.4 ohms, the neck is 6.83 so you can see how there are so many possibilities with 1 volume, 1 tone, and a balancer for the 2nd bridge single coil in parallel.  

The nut measures 1.61", neck depth is  at the 1st and 12th frets respectively.  It's a medium C profile.  24.75" scale, 12" radius, 8.45 lbs.  Comes with a fresh set of American made 9-42 nickel strings and a spare set of Tremolo springs. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability.  It is in excellent playable condition with no dead spots or unwarranted buzzing on perfect action at 4/64" and 3/64".  Comes safely packed and fully insured in the original gig bag in the photos.
