Up for sale is a beautifully aged Hashimoto G-100 classical guitar, crafted in Japan by Maruha Gakki during the golden era of Japanese luthiery (late 1960s–1970s).
This instrument stands out as a well-preserved vintage example with a mature tonal character that only decades of natural aging can produce. It offers a warm, resonant voice with excellent balance—ideal for expressive fingerstyle and classical playing.
Unlike many entry-level vintage guitars, this G-100 has developed a rich, open sound with enhanced responsiveness, making it a highly enjoyable player rather than just a collectible.

Important Note
This guitar was in storage for a long time before I acquired it, and I have not had it checked by a luthier. I own and play many vintage guitars, but I strongly recommend having this instrument professionally inspected and set up after purchase.
Although these Made in Japan guitars are built like tanks, this is still a roughly 50-year-old instrument, so I want to set realistic expectations to ensure a great experience for the buyer.
The specifications listed are based on online sources and may vary slightly from the actual guitar. Due to the rarity of the models I sell, reliable information can be difficult to find, so I encourage buyers to cross-check details if needed.
I can confidently say that this guitar sounds great, and I am happy to provide a playing and sound demo video to serious buyers upon request. I plan to upload demo videos to YouTube in the future, but due to a busy schedule, I currently provide videos directly to interested buyers.
My goal is for you to receive the guitar with no surprises. I would rather not sell a guitar at all than risk a bad experience for a buyer — integrity is very important to me.
Please feel free to:
- Ask any questions before purchasing
- Examine the photos carefully (taken with a professional-grade camera to show as much detail as possible)
- Request additional photos from specific angles if needed
I will respond as quickly as possible.
I am open to reasonable offers, so feel free to ask.
