The Ernie Ball Music Man StingRay Special 5-String blends the unmistakable StingRay tone with modern upgrades built for today’s players. An ash body pairs with a roasted maple neck and 22 stainless steel frets to deliver excellent resonance, long-term durability, and a smooth, comfortable playing experience across the entire fretboard.

At the heart of the StingRay Special is an 18-volt, 3-band active preamp that provides impressive headroom and precise tonal control. Neodymium pickups deliver powerful, articulate output with exceptional clarity, making it easy to dial in everything from tight, punchy lows to clear, defined highs. Whether in a one or two pickup configuration, the StingRay Special offers the flexibility to handle any musical situation with confidence.
