The Avantone Pro Active MixCube is a shielded, full-range powered reference monitor built around a single 5.25" paper-cone driver in a sealed 165 mm (6.5") MDF cube with radiused edges. Originally inspired by the classic 5C sound cubes, it is used as a secondary check for how mixes translate on phones, laptops, televisions, car stereos, and other bass-limited systems. Crossover-Free Midrange

Because there is no crossover in the musical midrange, balance decisions on vocals, guitars, and keyboards are easier to trust before you leave the nearfields. The sealed cabinet and Class A/B amplifier keep the response focused for short, critical listening passes.
