This Taylor 714-L30 from 2004 is a masterfully crafted Grand Auditorium model from Taylor's renowned 700 series, made in El Cajon, California. In 2004, to mark the company's 30th anniversary, Taylor released a small number of special models that combined selected exotic tonewoods of the highest quality, sophisticated features, and first-class craftsmanship.

This Taylor 714-L30 comes with the time-honored tonewood combination of solid Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce, which together produce a versatile tone rich in harmonic texture and crystalline overtones, and in combination with the specially forward-shifted X bracing inside, provide fantastic volume and sustain. It is truly one of the most beautiful Grand Auditorium acoustic guitars Taylor has ever built!

In terms of playability, a medium-width “C”-shaped neck profile and 44.5mm TUSQ nut ensure excellent playability. The Gotoh 510 Gold tuners provide excellent tuning stability.

Visually, the instrument scores with natural elegance: the beautifully grained tonewoods are shown off to great effect under the thin high-gloss finish and complement each other in aesthetic perfection with the ebony elements shimmering in brown and black tones. Added to this are the Falling Leaves fingerboard inlays designed for this limited edition, the Leaves motif on the rosette, and the 30th Anniversary lettering on the headstock.
