Crews Maniac Sound NPB Rosewood ｜ Black

A true Crews-style PB model that combines authentic specifications, outstanding playability, and a wide tonal range. From this production run, the pickups have been newly updated.

While maintaining the essential PB specs, this model achieves both improved playability and versatile tones—true to Crews’ philosophy. It delivers the strong, powerful low end characteristic of PBs, yet each note remains clear and well-defined.

Nut width:42mm.The nut width is slightly narrower than the standard PB’s 44mm, offering a comfortable feel without sacrificing the classic PB thickness.

Even players switching from a JB model will find it easy to handle while fully enjoying that signature PB sound.

From this latest run, the pickups have been newly upgraded. They now provide more punch and presence in the low-mid range while maintaining quick response and articulation. When the volume is fully open, it produces a strong tone with a touch of drive. At full volume and tone, you get a modern sound; roll them back slightly, and you’ll find a more vintage-like tone — this dynamic tonal control is one of the hallmarks of Crews basses.

With simple controls, it translates the player’s expression directly into sound. From aggressive picking that emphasizes power and sharp attack to richly expressive fingerstyle playing, the Crews NPB adapts seamlessly to a variety of styles and situations.

Equipped with a Wilkinson bridge featuring brass saddles.
