Made in Japan in the early 1980's as part of the Tokai Breezysound series, the TE-70 was a mid-range model '58 reissue Telecaster. Built with an alder body wearing a gloss black finish bolted to a "U" profile one-piece maple neck (43mm nut width, 7.25" radius), it weighs 3.4kg's. Appears to be all original except for maybe the tuners, the original Tokai Vintage MK-II alnico single coils, three way switch and Japanese full-sized pots work and sound perfect.  Overall it's in good condition as pictured with a few scratches on the body but no major dings and no repairs. The neck is straight and the truss adjusts freely, the frets are played but smooth and have plenty of life left.
