• This is the same exact AIR BAND circuit as the original MAAG with top audio grade Op Amp 1% tolerance resistors, 5% tolerance capacitors and Panasonic electrolytic caps
• The Air Band® is a high-frequency shelving filter that boosts only (no cut), originally introduced in the NTI EQ3 in the early 1990s.
• It features a very shallow slope (approximately 2 dB/octave), which minimizes phase shift and preserves the tonal integrity of the signal while providing a sense of "air" and openness.
• Because of the gentle slope, boosting at a frequency like 40 kHz impacts frequencies much lower (e.g., 2–3 kHz), giving it a uniquely soft and natural sheen.
