Please don’t buy at the moment :( I’d be so stoked if you did. But I’ve been in the hospital fighting for my life for a long while. If you buy something I can’t ship it right now. I do everything myself including testing packing and shipping. Nobody else can do it for me. I noticed Canada post is back off strike- so I had to speak up. Keep creating for me out there. I’m stuck here for some days to come. I didn’t put it on Vacation mode as that locks messages that I want people to get. Send me some good vibes out there. I hope you are around when I get out of this damn Hospital 🍀

This is an exact clone of the 1981 DRV Overdrive. The knobs are heavy duty aluminum, and the foot switch is a soft click/very high quality switch.

Not “just a RAT!” It is actually quite different. Just because a pedal is based on similar topology doesn’t make them the same. this is much more touch sensitive running at 18v from your 9v power supply. The lower gain to medium gain is much smoother than the rat. I’ve had guys that use this as their always on pedal. Higher gain turns into a smooth and slightly squishy fuzz.

This is a 1981 inventions DRV clone, built with high quality, tested parts and heavy duty aluminum knobs. It is a highly nuanced preamp/distortion/ overdrive pedal.

The last pic is just an example of what I mean by hi-fi knobs. You get that circular sheen that catches the light. The lighting in my pics makes them look sort of flat white.

It sounds fantastic at high and low gain settings. It’s touch sensitive with a huge dynamic range. The circuit is based off of the Proco RAT pedal, but with tons of research and tweaking a much MUCH different beast.

It also uses a charge pump to increase the usual 9v up to 18v internally for amazing headroom. It’s the “gotta have it” pedal for a reason. There is a ton of conversation about this pedal, so you might think it is over-hyped. I just think the price tag of it is what makes people bitter about it.

Besides all that talk, it really is an amazing overdrive-distortion- and a unique fuzz circuit when it comes down to it. So it’s a really solid buy when you can get the same thing, but way cheaper.

It’s taking an already famous circuit and tweaking/improving the best parts about it.

Use only a standard “boss” type 9v power supply. There is a chip that converts 9-18v internally. These chips are sensitive to higher voltages and could potentially fry around 12v.

My pedals are built clean and with intense attention to detail and top quality parts. Hand made one by one in Ontario Canada. Thanks for looking :)
Cheers
