One of only 500 Crafted in Japan models that were made for the UK. It is a faithful recreation of Hank's Strat, it features a 7.25" radius fretboard, one-piece skunk stripe Maple neck and finished in that beautiful “Flamingo Pink” Fiesta Red – the guitar is slighter lighter in colour than comes across in the photographs. The neck is a slightly chunky 50’s style and plays lovely.
The UK’s very first guitar hero Hank Marvin has put his name to numerous signature models throughout his career but this Japanese Fender Stratocaster is exceptionally good and far better than the earlier Squire series guitars or the later Mexican made model.
This guitar is all original and is in excellent condition – only some slight fret wear and very slight aging on the Fender stamped saddles stop us describing it as mint – slung with a new set of Ernie Ball Paradigm 9s and it comes complete with its original Fender embossed hard case. These do not come up for sale that often in the UK and getting harder to find - especially in this condition.
