The original Fender/Rivera amplifier
The first amp developed for Fender by Paul Rivera (of Rivera Amplifiers), the idea behind the Super Champ was a smaller tube amp with a more "modern" sound. The team of engineers helmed by Rivera and Fender engineer Mark Wentling developed some legendary amps, including the Super Champ. More solid and dependable than older vintage amps, the Super Champ is the best of both worlds: cool vintage tone with the iconic Fender spring reverb, but with a distortion channel for a little tonal variety.
Featuring a 10" speaker, updated Champ circuitry, spring reverb, master volume, a switchable extra gain stage for a 'lead' effect, and a mid boost switch, the 1983 Fender Super Champ is the perfect addition to your amp arsenal.
