One of four Harlem Slim Model resonator guitars made by National Reso-Phonic in 2008.
Classic 12 fret wood body, single cone, biscuit bridge, sunburst finish.
Fat round neck; 1 13/16" (46mm) width at nut. Slightly deeper 'C' shape than most other National Reso-Phonic acoustic guitars (more mass); the theory suggests more sustain as a result.
Maple top, back & sides (rather than the walnut used on regular Estralita models); maple neck with rosewood fret board.
Bone nut.
Custom painted cover plate & tail piece.
National engraved tuning machines with white buttons.
Truss rod cover included, but not mounted.
Arched top National hard case with green plush lining made for the Harlem Slim Model.
Some clear finish lifting/flaking along one side of the guitar & at the neck heel, common to Nationals from this time due to the use of an inferior finishing product during the clear coat stage at the National factory in California. Guitar in very good condition other than the finish issues.
Plays well with a slide, and/or finger-style (hybrid set-up).
Excellent sustain; stays in tune very well.
No buzzing, rattles, unwanted noise.
Bare bones model, hard to find.
Boxed up & ready for shipment.
