Up for grabs is a New Washburn Americana 5 string banjo. Washburn is one of the oldest instrument manufacturers in the world, and have been crafting Banjo's since the late 1800's. The mahogany body with Remo head produces a clear full tone with plenty of volume and projection. The open back design is extremely lightweight clocking in at a mere 1.9KG. The 27 1/2 scale satin 22 fret mahogany neck with 1 3/16" nut feels great in the hand with a nice low string action. The chrome diecast tuners with geared 5th peg offer smooth and reliable tuning no matter what style your playing. Rounding out the specs are an adjustable truss rod, ebony tipped maple bridge, cream binding, dot inlays, mahogany rim, 11" grooved tension hoop with 18 brackets, traditional tailpiece, and a smooth natural satin finish.
