Vintage 1990's Chinese variant model / Atlas Sound MS-12C microphone floor / desk stand w XLR cable

 You are looking at a nice and very unique variant of the Atlas MS-12C microphone floor stand with a cast iron (10 inch wide) base. This is a newer 1980's or 90's era Chinese variant that's in very nice condition and as you can see it comes with several Atlas adapters so that you may mount your favorite XLR type microphone.

 This unique set up will let you place a mic in front of a drum set or on a desk / podium without worrying about the stand moving or tipping due to it's heavier than normal weight.

 This modified MS-12C type has the typical cast iron base with an adapter that allows for a 4 inch Atlas chrome riser with exit hole for the cable. On top of that is the quality Switchcraft XLR adapter with then has the flexible Atlas XLR to XLR gooseneck so that you may get up to 17 inches of height before mounting your XLR microphone. The Gooseneck is flexible yet firm. You can put upwards of a 90 degree angle once the mic is attached.

 You can easily remove the gooseneck if you so desire.

 The stand has a built in cable that's soft, pliable and 2 feet in length. It has the male Switchcraft XLR end connector so you can attach any longer XLR cable of choice as an extension to your audio equipment. The cable is balanced as well. No issues.

 This stand would compliment any microphone from about the 1960's to present due to its mid century styling.

 The chrome on all accessories shows no wear as seen in the pics provided. 

 The 3 rubber pads are present on the base and keep the base from scratching any floor it sits on. The cast iron base has a darker black paint scheme and it's quite nice overall. Just a few very lite scuff marks. The bottom of the cast iron base shows no rust stains.

 Overall this stand is an easy 9 on a scale of 1 - 10.
