Ibanez Japan 1992 Soundgear SR1306 6-String Bass - Padauk/Wenge/Bubinga (MIJ Fujigen)

This 1992 Ibanez Japan Soundgear SR1306-PD 6-String bass is Used and in Very Good Condition. The only wear on the bass are some light scratches and scuffs along the body edges and some scratches/nicks on the treble side of the neck and on the edges of the headstock. The neck is straight, back of the neck is Excellent with very little sign of use, the fingerboard and frets are also in Excellent Condition. Action has been set low with new DR High-Beam stainless roundwounds. The original Ibanez molded hardshell case is included and the bass will be securely packed and fully insured.

The Soundgear SR-1306PD was basically Ibanez's version of the Warwick (Germany) Thumb bass; it features a solid padauk body with wenge/bubinga neck with wenge fingerboard. The open port satin finish allows the instrument to breathe and sustain effortlessly. The very thin neck profile makes this 6-string as easy to play as most 5-string basses. The Ibanez LO-J6 split-coil (hum-cancelling) active pickups were made by EMG and were also used on the high-end Heartfield DR-5C / DR-6C basses.
