Hooper Norman Blake 12- fret Sunburst *Arnold Adi/ TJ Thompson BRW*

There is much written about this guitar in the Hooper thread and many additional photos. Please let me know any questions.

Hooper 12 fret D28 Norman Blake replica. Built with Mike Longworth old growth Brazilian rosewood from the Martin factory. The wood was acquired directly from TJ Thompson, who’d been sitting on it for the past 30 years. It’s perfectly quarter sawn, dead straight, and tight grained. The Top was picked out by John Arnold just for this guitar and was given to a friend as a 40th Birthday present from a friend, New York Lefty! The guitar is practically brand new; it’s only been strung up for a couple months.

One minor repaired hairline crack next to the nut, expertly done by Ken Hooper
