Alesis Quadraverb 2 OS v2.01 EPROM Firmware Upgrade KIT
- This upgrade version v2.01 is the latest firmware update issued by Alesis for the Quadraverb 2.
- Included will be 1 new EPROM chip to complete the upgrade.
The Quadraverb 2 itself is not for sale; only the EPROM upgrade chip will be supplied.
Please note – There are a handful of Quadraverb 2 mainboard revisions, which can have different IC socket numbering conventions. No need to worry, since there is only 1 EPROM to be installed, as long as you install the EPROM facing the notched end of the socket, your upgrade will be fine.
- New features and additions introduced in versoin 2.01 are as follows:
- Added: Sampling / Phase Inversion Triggered Panning / Triggered Mono/Stereo Flanging
- Added: Soft/Hard Overdrive / Block Copy/Paste / Advance and Bypass pedals as local modulation generators
- Added: 100 more user programs / Negative flanger feedback / Block Bypass
- Added: Improved Stereo Leslie with Linear/Circular mode / Quick routing when a block is added
- Added: LFO local modulation generator / “DIG” indicator flashes when digital input not valid
- The MIDI sysex additions:
- Added: In MIDI EDIT, Block Type can be edited / The MIDI Global Dump accommodates the larger footswitch range
- Added: An “ENTER” command / User Bank 1 dump and dump request
- Added: Block Bypass dump and dump request / MIDI program table dump and dump request
