Here for sale we have a Genuine Boss replacement thumb screw in the early "Silver Screw" style! If you've been looking for a replacement thumb screw that holds the battery compartment shut on your Vintage Silver Screw Boss pedal you have finally found it!

As you probably already know if you're looking at this, the late 70s and early 80s Boss pedals used a silver colored thumb screw for the battery compartment. Boss switched to the familiar "Black Screw" around 1981, and have been using them ever since. As a result finding a proper looking replacement for your early Boss pedal has been quite challenging. Fortunately we can now offer these virtually identical replacement parts!

If you look at the pictures you can see this replacement is visually pretty much indistinguishable from the original from the late 70s. If you've got an early Silver Screw pedal that is missing its correct thumb screw you will not be able to find a more precise match than this part. They also work great as a slightly more robust replacement part for the standard black headed Boss thumb screws used on all later pedals as well. These high quality Made In Japan screws are made from solid brass, with genuine nickel plating, and are sure to stand the test of time.
