This pair of condenser microphones features consecutive serial numbers.
Each microphone has a 140 Hz high-pass filter and a 10 dB pad.
The 6 dB output attenuator has been disabled, as this feature only changes the microphone’s impedance. This helps keep the noise floor to a minimum.
One microphone has a K47 capsule with a 6 µm diaphragm (the original thickness), while the other has a thinner K47 capsule modified to 2.5 µm. This modification produces a more present sound, with a slight boost in the high frequencies.
